This chapter examines the newslore about former U.S. President George W. Bush. It explains that most of the jokes about Bush were not about his handling of specific events but to an overall perception of his lack of competence and intelligence. The Bushlore centers on four themes including his lack of intelligence, his substance abuse problem and the view that he is a huckster. This chapter also provides some examples of Bush jokes.
