This chapter explores Grant Morrison’s first works for DC Comics in the 1980s. Morrison pitched to DC his remake of Animal Man: a remake of the 1960s DC comic book character that fell into obscurity. The chapter adds that Morrison also wrote Arkham Asylum for DC, a graphic novel about the insane asylum that holds Batman’s most dangerous adversaries.
