Focusing on the war on terrorism from George H.W. Bush to Barack H. Obama, the nation’s tendency to foster policies and practices that contribute to or detract from progress toward the achievement of foreign policy justice is examined and assessed. While Dr. King first articulated the ideal, the notion of “foreign policy justice” was first articulated by Ronald Walters, Jr. This concept is applicable in both the pre- and post-9/11 contexts, and it is broadly relevant for shedding light on the era of globalization.
