This chapter focuses on Theron Lynd’s defense lawyers: Dugas Shands and M. M. Roberts. As the Lynd injunction trial began, Shands was the lead lawyer cross-examining the government’s witnesses. M. M. Roberts provided ongoing legal guidance to Lynd, as he did for Luther Cox.
