This chapter discusses the legend-trip to the Pine Barrens of New Jersey to investigate the numerous claims surrounding the Ong’s Hat ashram, as well as the emergence of web forums built around the Incunabula Papers. It considers the second stage of legend-tripping evident in the travel to Ong’s Hat, as well as the various interpretations that arise from narrative immersion and the conflicts they cause among legend-trippers. It also examines the use of memes, sigils, fiction, and ostension by many Incunabula legend-trippers to advance their collective perception-altering play performances.
